The Kettle River is a protected and free flowing, the spring melt and more importantly the recent rains determine the river level.  Hard Water Sports has big rafts for the high water levels and inflatable kayaks available for the normal summer water levels.

Hard Water Sports provides the life jackets, the helmets and the paddles.

You’re going to get wet rafting on a whitewater river, in the early and late rafting season we recommend a raincoat or “splash-top”  Have a set of dry cloths for after the trip.

We like to make the rafting trips as easy as possible for our clients, no won’t need much – here’s a list of what is required and what is recommend for your whitewater rafting adventure.

REQUIRED

  • Short sleeve t-shirt to wear under your life jacket.
  • Shoes that will protect your feet and toes.  Old tennis shoes or water shoes are perfect –

OTHER

  • Sunglasses – with a safety strap
  • Waterproof camera
  • In the Spring and Fall bring an extra wool or a quick-dry fleece sweater (no cotton)
  • Water Bottle
