Spring and early summer rains were good to the Kettle River watershed. From the end of April to nearly the end of June we paddled the larger rafts on the Kettle.
The second half of 2022’s summer has not been so wet. The Kettle River is now at its more normal summer level and the big rafts are not making through the rapids.
Pull out the inflatable kayaks. Super fun on the whitewater, comfortable to paddle and a perfect boat for a beginner river paddler.
